The curriculum framework of the Arabic Language is fully compliant with the UAE National Curriculum. It is innovative in its approach, inquiry-based and focuses on relevant, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.

Learning Arabic as a first language starts at grade 1 and is a compulsory course for Arab Nationals from Grade 1 to Grade 12. Learning Arabic as a foreign language is mandatory for students from grade 1 to Grade 9.

Arab students follow the standards set in the National Curriculum Document for Arabic as a first language and use the MOE prescribed textbooks as a primary resource in their curriculum.

Non-Arab students follow the curriculum standards and expectations set in the 2017/2018 MOE framework for Arabic as an additional language and use the MOE prescribed textbooks as the main resource in their curriculum.
